Canoe Making Featured in The Border Mail

There’s a great article in Friday 4 October’s Border Mail detailing a recent Bark Canoe project conducted using bark from a River Redgum at Wonga Wetlands in Albury.

The finished canoe will eventually be on display at Wonga Wetlands & was made as part of AlburyCity’s Wagirra Trail project.

NAIDOC Week at Burraja

Come & Celebrate NAIDOC Week at Burraja’s Open Day, from 11.30am to 2pm on Sunday 7 July 2013.

There will be plenty of things to do, including spear and boomerang throwing and also stone tool knapping. A barbeque with traditional food will be provided or try your hand at making your own damper.
