The Burraja Indigenous Cultural and Environmental Discovery Centre has a small native garden at the entrance to the centre, where people can wander and learn about the useable native plants common to this region. The garden is maintained by the Ghunda Mulla Aboriginal Landcare group and tours of the garden are available by request.

Burraja can also assist in providing weaving workshops for interested groups where participants can learn about the use of grasses in the north east Victoria and make a basket or string from natural fibres.

The Burraja Indigenous cultural and environmental discovery centre, and the women’s Aboriginal landcare group have recently undertaken workshops and field days with Dr Beth Gott the noted ethno Botanist and co author with Nelly Zola of Koorie plants Koorie people.
